Our Story

Sonrisa Technologies began in 2006, founded by three IT professionals in Budapest who believed software engineering should be more than just a job. For us, it has always been about making a real impact, by building technology that matters, done so well it brings a smile to your face. And ours, too.

What started as a small team has since grown into 300+ engineers across Hungary, Romania, and Serbia. Along the way, we’ve stayed true to the values that shaped us from the beginning: ingenuity, mastery, and tenacity. These aren’t just words on a wall, they’re the way we solve problems, push boundaries, and deliver outcomes that last.

Today, Sonrisa is a trusted partner for enterprises in travel, healthcare, transport, e-commerce, and beyond. We design, build, modernize, and operate digital products and cloud platforms with the agility of a boutique team and the reliability of enterprise-grade delivery.
