As our partnership has grown, we’ve tackled significant challenges together, including the need to enhance overall traveler experiences, accelerate refund processes, and boost operational efficiency—all while maintaining exceptional customer service.
Having previously worked on projects like Rex1.0, we were already well-acquainted with Global Blue's needs, paving the way for our current endeavor: developing the REX2 system. Over the past 1.5 years, our Sonrisa team has played a vital role in this transformation, creating an intuitive front-end that streamlines tax refund management for operators. Through innovative new features, we've managed to significantly reduce processing times, ensuring that travelers receive swift service even during busy periods.
Our solution harnessed cutting-edge technology, including Angular and NGRX, to facilitate seamless real-time communication with external devices. We implemented a Backend for Frontend (BFF) architecture to integrate diverse microservices, allowing us to respond quickly to changing business requirements and ensure a user-friendly experience. The results have been remarkable, with REX2.0 gaining traction and leading to enhanced customer satisfaction.
